Homophones are two words which have the same pronunciation. Below are some examples.


She needs flowers to make a bouquet. rose
She needs flour to make a cake.
The flowers made of flour are used to decorate the cake.

The key to the door is old.
The scenery in the quay is beautiful.
I found a key while walking along the quay.

My cute cat is calico.
